Malaysia ada Foemula One team?

Do we (Malaysia) really need a team in Formula One? Company Name: 1Malaysia F1 Team Sdn Bhd. Team Name: Lotus F1 Team. Team Principal: Tony Fernandes. Team Technical Director: Mike Gascoyne.

Hmmm....seems like someone is gonna make quick big bucks here.
And malaysians! Be prepared. You're gonna get ripped off left right front back top and below.

Trust me. Everything will be covered and covered-up.

Zul, The voters are matured enough to see what's right and what's wrong. The truth would eventually prevail. It is only a matter of time.

Have a nice day and take care.

Dokta,
I am of two minds about this project. It has it's pros and cons. I think we are trying to emulate the success of Force India in F1. Unfortunately we already have Petronas spending millions in F1 and I wonder why Petronas isn't involved in this new project. Instead of supporting Sauber why not Petronas support 1Malaysia F1?
On another note, I think it is not the best of times for Malaysia to be involved in promotional jobs as there are so many basic issues of image that need to be resolved, especially on transparency and security which seemed to be declining at an astonishing rate.

Pak Idrus,
U are right pak.Apparently they never learn anything from all the blunders they allowed to happen esp the PKFZ.
How unfortunate.Or should it my : How Stupid of them?

Pak Zawi,

If only we learn our lessons from past mistakes(our's and other's).
The pro is we get extensive media coverage which promotes the country and our tourism industry.

But the amount of money that need to be pumped in the project is huge. We cannot afford another 'mistake' just like the PKFZ fiasco or many other glamourous projects with huge investment but at the end of the day the govt need to bail them out.
