Sphinx with Pyramid

Salam to all.

I know.I know. And I am sorry.
Some friends had been waiting for the Jejak Misri with photos( the belly dance kan?).

Since coming back, I was a bit busy(and lazy but not crazy). With masuk jawi/berkhatan and all those usual stuff.

I haven't had the chance to really sit down and write. So this entry is sort of like a teaser. Or a gazzette.Or during my kampong days, a cheap matinee.

I do hope you guys will like these photos that I took with my cheapo Nokia( really its really cheap and I can't remember its model. 3310 or 3110? Ntah le!)

The pics from my cheapo camera will be review tonight and InsyaALLAh will be in the REAL entry.

Kandungan posting mungkin ada kena mengena atau tidak dengan makhluk yang hidup atau yang telah tiada.Kalau sapa-sapa terasa nak buat macamana kan. Sapa makan cabai melaka dia pedaih laa

If your nokia can take the Nile Sunset like that then I am more inclined to think that it is the photographer rather then the camera that captured such a beautiful sight.

Salam Doc,

Er...thought you were either trying to save the sphinx nose or bring it back here to us as a trophy? :)

But I thoroughly have to agree with Cikgu, that sunset...masyAllah! Peewit! Rasanya, ada gambar yang kena ciplak nanti, leh ye :)

Hey Doc,

Wahlau...

Sigh...To be able to see the pyramids upclose must have been spectacular, huh?

You know, I saw this documentary about the pyramids once, and it is said that it was built by aliens!

Because you can actually check the accuracy of any compas by aligning (checking...is that a better word?) it with the pyramids!

It seems (says the documentary lar) that the aliens built the pyramids as outer-space coordinates for them to return to earth!

One of the reason given is that modern machinery can't lift the stones of the pyramid, and yet, people of ancient Egypt supposedly did it with their own bare hands! So, they say, must be alien technology lor...

Er...I don't know how true these all are lar...Hehe...

Anyway, thanks for sharing Doc...The food looks great! And *Grrrrr!*, why no belly dancer pix?

=)

Shah:

About the nose, hajat di batalkan bilamana mengetahui bagaimana al-sphinx hilang hidong nya( ada entry nanti).

Actually I saw the most beautiful sunrise on our way to Abu Simbel, but unfortunately my camera was not powerful enough and the bus ride was...'rocking', so didn't take pics. But, subhanallah, thats the preetiest sunrise I have ever seen bro!

Daphne:

I was not impressed with the pyramids but with the Valley of the Kings and the Abu Simbel temples.

Fauziah Ismail at http://xmatters.blogspot.com/

had 3 entries about Egypt and the pyramids.

I will post my journey soon.

whoaaa...looking at the first pic, one cant help but to simply feel amazed. its enormous aint it?

i'm sure the food is great and all but we can still find it here but this is the land of ths sphinx and pyramids we're discussing here man.

aku jumpa an egyptian a month back and she said nothing beats than to be there next to the sphinx and experience it yourself.

you can testify to this, cant you, doc?

Tumpang lalu Doc,
Daphne,
If you are interested in this notion that aliens had landed a few thousand years back and we learnt from them try reading 'Chariots of the Gods'. In fact there is even a documentary with the same title. I can't remember the author, you can google it. It makes very interesting reading. There is also a sequel to the book but I can't remember the title.
