Amazing Sanborn

David Sanborn. My favourite alto saxaphonist. Again Abdul Hamed Samad's review and the then radio Ibukota introduced his music to me. Till this day, Sanborn is the best alto sax cats as far as I'm concern. Kenny G? Yelch!!

Here I offer you to listen to the melancholic The Dream and the funky SLAM.

Sanborn!Sanborn!Sanborn!

The Dream- David Sanborn

SLAM- David Sanborn

Kandungan posting mungkin ada kena mengena atau tidak dengan makhluk yang hidup atau yang telah tiada.Kalau sapa-sapa terasa nak buat macamana kan. Sapa makan cabai melaka dia pedaih laa

Salam Doc,
One word to describe Sanborn - Brilliant!

Hmmm, looks like a run-up to March 15..

Just to let you know, last Saturday lunch-time I was across the road from you, Kerpie and Bilal-man. Yes, barely 50 m away across Kayu Kandar with my boys in Mc D's. Then we shuffled on foot to go watch the JJ Abrams (Lost) produced movie "Cloverfield" where it was alleged by Princess Journals and possibly abetted by Tok Bilal-man himself that Mat Salo (yes the great MS, sailor-man and cucu of Bugih warriors) was found to be suffering from motion sickness (euphemism for 'sick') during the course of the jerky camerawork. Fitnah? Yes, fitnah belaka. While it's true that he was feeling a bit nauseous, no way did he 'muntah'. I hope this will clear up any misconceptions.

BTW, teket dah beli ke?

Btw Doc, you have anything on Yellowjackets tak? Tried searching for them especially 'Live at Montreal' tapi tak dapat.

Alamak bro MS, tersilap tulis le kat Princess, minta maaf ye.

Pak mior:

Sanborn is indeed briliant.
He rarely write his own songs, but the way he interprated others' songs were magnificient. He colloborated with Clapton, David Gilmore and Sting in Lethal Weapon's soundtrack...the sax was wailing...

Pak MS:

I read at Kerp's that ypou were there on saturday. Memang tak dak rezeki to meet you that day. I told Kerp and Shah, nanti nak sms MS and che'gu nak bagi tau we were there.Tapi bila dah sembang2 lupa nak sms hang. Kalau tak tentu hang pun join sama.

I saw Cloverfield last week. Yeah it gives you some giddiness but you wont muntah there and then coz its likeable. If the story and acting were trash, a camerawork like that will definitely cause mass vomitting in the cineplex. An orgy of sort laa...

Dah discuss dgn Shah about TOTO. have to find out about Hafiz's school hols and bila General Erection(ooppsss...) Election.

You in Msia sampai bila??

Shah:

Sanborn did came to Msia twice kot,the first one was in 1994 kalau tak silap. And few years ago he came again.

Yellowjackets setakat ni dok cari tak jumpak lagi.kalau jumpa aku bagi link kat hang.
