Queen is an English rock band formed in 1970 in London by guitarist Brian May(now Dr Brian May), singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor, with bassist John Deacon joining the following year. Queen rose to prominence during the 1970s and are one of Britain's most successful bands of the past three decades. (read more here...)

Another one bites the dust
I want to break free
Kandungan posting mungkin ada kena mengena atau tidak dengan makhluk yang hidup atau yang telah tiada.Kalau sapa-sapa terasa nak buat macamana kan. Sapa makan cabai melaka dia pedaih laa
The part about BR that I like is the guitar rift, damn bloody good. I used to have a clear VHS copy of their concert, very entertaining but then VHS has gone the way of the dinosaur.
Bohemian Rapsody is simply a classic. but i believe we've discussed on this song before doc, especially on its lyrics where the part goes Bismillah...whats your take on this anyway boss?
hi doc Funny I was just thinking about this group tonight and the life of F Mercury and the song B R before I visited your blog. A couple of weeks back I must have told someone how F Mercury was only wearing a piece of white underwear while singing and playing piano on the roof of the Wembley Stadium. ANYWAY THE WIND BLOWS.
About the Bismillah thing...I don't know why Queen put it there. Are they potraying that the kid is a Muslim? Or are they telling us that the kid is facing his death sentence at the hands of Muslim authority?
Maybe someone can shed some lights for us.maybe our bro MatSalo or Shah....
salam doc, I bought these DVDs a few months back "The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert", documentary "Lover of Life, Singer of Songs" and "Queen - Live at Wembley Stadium". Come to KL N I shall take u there.
The best part of Bucycle was the kring...kring part, don't you think so?
How 'bout Fat Bottomed Girls?
Me was only a junior tiger-in KE-2. My first third of Form was in LSS(now Darul Ridwan) and not KE. That will be part 4 of my terkenang semasa dulu series.
Hai Doc, I was studying in Liverpool in 70s and yes remember them quite well although not much of my taste back then. I was hooked on to Bob Marley, Barry White, Elton John, The Real Things etc ... anything that cool.
Over times their music and lyrics became more deep and calling. Like Search they withstand the time to be popular even now.
Its kind of draw back for me when FM declared that he is a Queer. I hope that part has no relations to our Leaders today.
Salam Tokasid "I want to break free ..." lagu yang dinyanyikan lepas MCE exam dulu. Kira merdeka from the shackles of the education system lah ... those were the days!
Salam Tokasid My mistake ... I want to break free SEPATUTNYA lagu after our MCE exams. That year (1979), it was That Crazy Little Thing called Love ... with exams and all, mana ada masa nak bercinta ....

Jeejah Mantra:
Apparently Queen's songs are very appropriately these days, right?
"Another one bites the dust" is actually my dedication to Samy vellu n Kayveas.I know che'hu will agree with this.
Che'gu:
Yes,BR is such a sad song and that Brian May's rift makes us feel for the poor kid's tormented soul.
I too have the VHS but manage to get a pirated DVD.
And I dedicate Another one bites the dust to your good friends Samy Velu and Kayveas.

Pak,I have been toying to put up Queen for sometime now.Infact this draft was made about a year ago.
FM is a very talented person and is an entertainer in his own right. His 'other' life is another story altogether.
I am not suprised that FM sang with just his undies on stage. If its legal he might get naked too and have some of his 'jambu' on stage.LOL!
