Lock-up your vehicles,please.

Salam to all.

We see reports of vehicle thefts almost daily.
Its in the MSM. Its on TV.
Cars and SUVs ended up in Thailand.Kancil and Proton Perdana is among the fav cars.
Motorcycles ended up in Felda settlements and recentl discovered by Melaka cops, in Pulau Rupat near Dumai in Sumatera.

Most of the cars and SUVs and vans in Malaysia are equiped with locks and alarms.Yet the tide of cars theft are rising. Hopefully it will not be another Tsunami.

Ok folks! Apart from the routinely installed locks and alarms I do think we need reinforcement to reduce the possibility of our cars being stolen. At least it will discourage vehicle theives.

These are my suggestions. What say you?

Looks like this guy had Mr Bean as a teacher

This bike will be safe from motorcycle thief but what about besi buruk thief?

Life will be hard for the car thief..but this is what the City Hall is looking for

This is the best method . In our context just tie it to a Durian tree or pokok kelapa

Kandungan posting mungkin ada kena mengena atau tidak dengan makhluk yang hidup atau yang telah tiada.Kalau sapa-sapa terasa nak buat macamana kan. Sapa makan cabai melaka dia pedaih laa

Doc TA,
If they set their mind on stealing your vehicle, somehow they will be able to take it however much you tie or locj them. Invest in some security syestem that has a way of disabling the car from functioning by remote control.
Anyway my 18 yr old Daihatsu Charade Aura car cost less than the security system, so why bother?
Anyway I enjoyed the sight of man's folly in the seemily secured way they attempt at preventing the car from being stolen. Some attempts.

Kereta hijau tu tak ikat pun takapa pasai orang tak mau curi. Macam ni la, kalau mak enon jalan telanjang pun, tak dak sapa nak rogol, kalau Maya karin pulak, ada seribu bodyguard pun masih tak selamat.

Salaam Doc,
I heard this one trick before; cabut steering, masuk beg, bawak pegi pajabat! I don't know if someone out there did it , but it sounds like a thriller for the stealer.

Pak Zawi:

Car/vehicle thieves are one determined lot. They dare take the risks bcoz the return is very lucrative.

About the system to dysfunction our car via GPS, I've heard about it but I don't know if its already here in Malaysia and what the cost is like.

Che'gu;

Cabut steering masuk bag? I think I've seen it in a stupid movie.
In real life payah sikit kot sebab stereng tu kan besar...mana muat masuk briefcase.

Yes, leaving a child in a locked car under the hot sun is sure a deadly deathtrap.
About 13 years ago, my brother's friend( and mine too when we were kids) went to out to buy something at a Supermarket in KL.2of his daughters tagged along. The younger( I think aged 4 at that time) fell asleep upon arrival.
Since thinking he'll just grab something quick and back to the car, I left the younger daughter sleeping at the back seat with all windows rolled up. While shopping,he forgot about the kid and he spent longer time in the Supermarket( almost an hour). When he came out the younger daughter was already dead.
Till now he still can't get over it.

Salam Tokasid
My auntie has got a classic quote when her late husband complained about dents on the car or when she parked the car at places he thought would tantanmount it to be vandalised or stolen.
She said kalau tak nak accident atau kena curi, letak kereta tu dalam almari kaca (display case) dan tengok saja.
It cracked us up. My late uncle mampu senyum je masa tu.
